Flying Heels Rodeo
Granby’s summertime rodeo takes place at the Flying Heels Arena, south of town. A great event for the entire family, there’s always bull riding, roping, barrel racing, games for the kids, and more. Kids can even sign up to compete in mutton busting!

The admission tickets are for general seating. Seating is first come first served. The rodeo starts at 7pm, but please try to arrive early, around 6pm; or 5pm on Independence Day Weekend.

NO, rodeo goes on rain or shine. There is covered seating.

No, spectators are not allowed in the arena or pens (except for Mutton bustin' boot scramble etc.). We also request that you try to stay in the spectator area and be respectful and aware of the competitors horses that can spook, bite or kick. Additionally, at times horses are moving in and out of the arena at a very fast pace for a particular event/act.

Friendly, well behaved dogs on a leash are allowed, however, rodeo is loud, so we recommend putting them in your vehicle.
HIGH COUNTRY STAMPEDE RODEO
Just down the road from Granby in the nearby town of Fraser, check out the High Country Stampede Rodeo. Get ready for exciting rodeo entertainment for families and groups including bull riding, clown acts, mutton busting, barrel racing, trick riding, roping, and much more. Each rodeo night has a theme, like Old West or Family Fun. They provide covered stands, so the rodeo happens rain or shine!
The Junior Rodeo starts in the afternoon at 3pm followed by the Open Rodeo in the evening, starting at 7pm. Enjoy a BBQ dinner, and check out their ice cream shop and trading post.
